Useful app/web for finding train and bus connections (with a possibility to buy the ticket): IDOS
The best access to Brno is from Vienna Airport (a 2-hour journey by train or slightly longer by coach (bus) – very frequent departures directly from Arrival Hall area of the airport), e.g. Regiojet, Flixbus or CD train service.
A 3-hour journey from Prague Airport (need to change the bus in Prague).
In January, small Brno Airport receives only daily flights from London, Stansted and Tuesday and Saturday flights from Malaga.
Train connections for long distance trains via Prague and Vienna are also convenient (e.g. Hamburg, Graz, Budapest).
Accommodation
We recommend using your favourite accommodation websites or apps (Booking.com, Airbnb etc.)
Convenient apartments and hotels near the conference venue are Pension Integrity, Orea Congress Hotel Brno or upmarket Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace in the centre.
There are many other excellent places around – the venue has good connection via Tram No. 1 (with 5-10 min intervals) which intersects the city. Your tram stop will be Arena Brno.
